BROSE SKA-500

Roll and Sensor Assembly — Read Before Operating

This sign will not work unless the roll is correctly inserted and fed through the 3-switch sensor assembly.

  • Leftmost switch — must be physically pressed by the roll. The sign will not operate if this switch is open.
  • Middle switch — detects the correct stop position for each destination frame.
  • Rightmost switch — detects the White/Reset position at the very beginning of the roll.

When the sign is stopped on the Reset position, even manual control will only allow the sign to progress upward (forward through the roll). It will not step backward.

The BROSE SKA-500 is a Rollband (rollsign) exterior sign. It is not IBIS controlled — destination selection is handled via Step/Schritt (step pulse) control using a dedicated control unit such as the STV-x series or, for IBIS integration, the IS-1 converter.
